• Keeping the mortuary clean at all times
• Removal of human remains
• Handling and storing human remains professionally
• Preparing and washing human remains
• Performing embalming duties as necessary
Keeping records of bodies removed dates and place of burial and other necessary information.
• Checking and ensuring that all requirements for removals are in place
• Verifying all paper work processed during removals
• Execute all local burial duties
• Driving to all destinations as assigned
• Reporting vehicle faults to the Fleet Manager for services and repairs
• Filling in of log books and fuelling records
• Adhering to road rules and regulations all the time
• Submit funeral survey forms to the funeral Manager after burial
• Maintaining good relations with clients at all times during and after services until drop off point
• Address and communicate with staff and clients professionally
• Observe safety precautions in and out of the mortuary
• Prepare mortuary requisitions
Must have a Diploma or better of Proficiency in Funeral Business Assurance And Services or Certificate in Mortuary Science and Undertaking and a drivers licence . Minimum of 5 years experience in the similar position
