FACT Zimbabwe is a Christian based organisation that was instituted in 1987. Since establishment, FACT Zimbabwe has been a leading national HIV and development organisation implementing various projects directly and through partnerships. The organization have since grown to become a broad-based health and development organization whilst maintaining special focus on HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and related health issues. It envisions ‘Healthy Communities and a Healthy Nation’ and has a national footprint directly and through partnerships. FACT Zimbabwe is a community health partner in a consortium project led by Union Zimbabwe Trust (UZT) called SUPPORT TB which is funded by USAID. The project Goal is, ‘to improve health outcomes for individuals, health workers, families and communities affected and infected by TB in Zimbabwe’. 5. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Officer is responsible for implementing
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning activities under the CHALLENGE-TB
program.
KEY RESULTS AREAS
• Technical M&E support to all districts implementing CHALLENGE-TB program
• Develop and update programme M&E Systems under the supervision of MEAL Coordinator
• Analyse and consolidate monthly district reports
• Produce program weekly dashboard
• Capacity building of program staff
DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR ACTIVITIES
List the main tasks that make up the job as derived from the major tasks in section 6 above and commence
each task with an action verb in the present tense
1. Technical support to programs teams at District level
• Conduct supportive supervisory visits to District to observe, monitor and provide guidance
and quality feedback on the use of data and indicators.
• Provide supportive M&E trainings to program personnel in quality assurance methods.
• Provide technical backstopping to programs teams
2. Develop and update programme M&E Systems
• Support MEAL Coordinator in management of performance monitoring of all activities
• Develop and updating of MEAL SOPs for the program
• Coordinating data collection and reporting processes for all projects
• Maintain tools to collect and analyse information on inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact
of the program.
3. Consolidate, analyse and produce program monthly reports
• Ensure data cleaning before submission to management
• Ensure timely reporting.
• Review and consolidates reports from all districts and submit to MEAL Coordinator
