Welthungerhilfe has been implementing projects in Zimbabwe since 1980. Sector focus is on Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Food and Nutrition Security, Livelihoods and when necessary, Emergency response.
Position summary
Welthungerhilfe seeks to engage a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Junior Officer. She/He will be specifically responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation systems development, data collection and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job description
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Junior Officer will be responsible for developing Monitoring and Evaluation systems, proposal development contributions, undertaking projects progress monitoring, support with project logical frameworks reviews, knowledge management and reporting; He/She is also expected to supervise field data collection, synthesis and reporting; Other key responsibilities will include development and management of databases, support with monitoring and evaluation capacity development for project teams and mainstreaming of Welthungerhilfe monitoring standards in projects; The Junior Officers will also support with capacity building of staff and the communities we assist on Accountability and Protection.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, skills and experience required
A Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation; Social Sciences; Development Studies; Statistics and Research or any related field; Minimum relevant work experience as Monitoring, Evaluation , Accountability and Learning Officer with an International NGO; Experience in monitoring Disaster Risk Reduction and WASH projects will be an added advantage; Experience in design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems; Practical experience in designing and managing surveys; Demonstrated ability to build surveys onto digital platforms; Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
