Trans Smart Trust is seeking a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our team and oversee the effective monitoring and evaluation of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the project's M&E framework, collecting and analyzing data, and providing regular progress reports to the project management team and Partners.
• Develop and maintain the project and program comprehensive M&E plans, including indicators, data collection tools, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate the collection, compilation, and analysis of project performance data from various sources.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation and obtain qualitative feedback from beneficiaries.
• Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, and annual) progress reports on project performance and impact.
• Identify and address any challenges or gaps in the project's M&E systems.
• Support the project team in using M&E data to inform program planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with the Global Fund and other key stakeholders on M&E-related matters.
• Contribute to the documentation of best practices and lessons learned from the project.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the NGO/development sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing M&E frameworks for complex projects.
• Strong data management and analytical skills, including proficiency in data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of the local context and experience working with transgender and intersex communities in Zimbabwe would be an added advantage.
