Monitoring and Evaluation Facilitator: Sustainable Agriculture Technology (SAT)
Deadline: 4 January 2021
Duration: 1 Year with possibility of extension

Duty Station: Lupane, Zimbabwe with travels and responsibilities in Umguza District
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible in 1 February 2021

SAT is a local Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) specialising in smallholder farmer development and extension services provision. Established as a Trust in 2007 and registered as a PVO in Zimbabwe in 2011 (reference number 09/11), SAT has implemented many development projects for the benefit of over 500,000 households. SAT is headquartered in Harare, and has a number of field offices in the country.
Under the overall supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, the successful candidate will assist with conducting Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the Organization in the Matebeleland Province.

Duties and Responsibilities

Core functions / responsibilities
To assist with collecting and gathering data on project indicators, participate in developing M&E plans, procedures for monitoring each level of the logframe; undertake project progress monitoring and reporting; support in developing of monitoring tools, data collection procedures (e.g. logical framework, project performance tracking; data flow charts, M&E manuals).

Qualifications and Experience

Education, experience and competencies
Undergraduate degree program in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics and Research or any related field; Experience in database management is essential. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously; Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills; Great team work and interpersonal skills. Understanding of basic accounting procedures for field officers.
Languages
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Ndebele.
