Job Description

Zimbabwe Archdiocese of Harare is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation
(PVO25/2014) which carries out programmes such as relief, livelihoods and developmental-Water and Sanitation and Hygiene among others. Caritas Archdiocese of Harare will be implementing the WFP lean season assistance project in Chikomba District for 4 months and is therefore inviting qualified men and women to apply for the following positions in preparation for the programme implementation.

Monitoring and Evaluation
Assistant (4 months)

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Monitoring of food distribution and work in the project according to an agreed plan
• Undertaking monitoring activities (PDM,
Registration and monitoring)
• Maintain close communication with Field Officers and Clusters in the project implementation
Managing SCOPE
• Report writing, capturing and analysing collected data
• Maintain an inventory of all SCOPE gadgets and ensure they are kept safely and ready for use during registrations and distributions
• Any other relevant duties assigned

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Attributes:
• A minimum of a Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent. A degree in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage
• Experience or knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
• Experience working with WFP SCOPE data base
• Computer proficiency
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Systemic personality who pays attention to detail, accuracy
Excellent written and communication skills
Minimum 1 year experience in
development programmes, preferably
working in livelihoods
 Ability to communicate in English and a
local language
 Good computer skills (especially Excel)
 Good interpersonal skills
 Flexibility and willingness to be field based
and work in a rural environment
 Ability to work with minimum supervision
 Experience with WFP food distribution
projects
 Must have experience working in an NGO
setting
