Job Description
NATIONAL BLOOD SERVICE ZIMBABWE (NBSZ)
WE’RE HIRING
VACANCY: MOBILE TEAM DRIVER
Reporting To: Mobile Team Leader Contract Period: 5-year fixed term Branch: Bulawayo
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Result Areas
* Driving NBSZ vehicles for authorised duties.
* Compiling reports on fuel consumption and vehicle performance.
* Monitoring and recording temperatures of blood transportation boxes.
* Reporting faults instantly and servicing vehicles on schedule.
* Maintaining the log book per the Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
* Conducting cost-effective route planning.
* Screening blood donors and referring to the nurse or team leader.
* Packing loads per laid-down procedures.
* Cleaning the vehicle used for transportation.
Qualifications and Experience
Person Specification
* Minimum of five O-Level passes, including English Language.
* Clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
* Valid Defensive Driving Certificate.
