The project ‘Promoting climate protection through smallholder resilience’ by Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. (Help) is an intervention focused on building the climate resilience of 3,000 households in Bulilima rural district. The activity is funded by the German Postcode Lottery. The objective of the project is to combat the effects of climate change for resource constrained households in Zimbabwe.
Consultancy Role:
Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V is looking for a Consultancy under this engagement to develop and design a Mobile Application.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
• The consultant must have hands-on experience in ICT systems and applications development and support for NGOs.
• Must provide proof of developing mobile applications (At least two systems developed preferably, for donor funded projects – These must have references and show links/pictures/screenshots of their previous work).
• Have thorough understanding of applications security protocols.
• Have a high degree of appreciation of data security and information protection.
• Experience in developing mobile applications for big donors will be an advantage.
• One of the Lead Consultants Should Possess
• A first degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible work experience in mobile applications in NGO/corporate settings.
• In-depth knowledge of data collection, analysis, visualisation, and presentation using digital platforms.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills in English.
• Excellent organising, facilitating, presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent English report writing skills.
