Applications are invited for the MILLWRIGHT position that has arisen within Baker’s INN
Manufacturing – Northern Region, Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include
but are not limited to the following: -
• Making sure that the equipment is working properly, safely and efficiently.
• Testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, ensuring good maintenance practice and
inspecting manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
• Performing general maintenance on the equipment and related designs of the
plant.
• Ensuring that the plant or machinery meets the NSSA safety requirements all the
time.
• Understand, interpret and implement quality requirements for machinery.
• Attending to breakdowns.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications: -
• National certificate in Millwright work.
• Millwright class 1 journeyman card.
• At least three years post apprenticeship in a food industry, bakery industry and
knowledge of bread slicing machines will be an added advantage.
• Computer literacy.
• Membership to a professional body is an added advantage.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license will be an added advantage.
