Duties and Responsibilities
Job Description
Develop and strengthen links with other private ambulance services in Zimbabwe and through mutual aid, support and training.
Oversee all training activities of the Training School.
Present lectures to staff in all bases and the Training School.
In liaison with the General Manager Operations visit all bases to evaluate quality of service and support the crews.
Organize Medical Board meetings annually.
The Medical director will primarily work from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Friday, but will be required to be on call 24hrs a day.
The Medical Director shall be required to respond to ground and air calls whenever required.
Will be responsible together with the General Manager for planning, coordinating and implementing internal training of staff career development.
Shall always ensure that staff operate within set protocols and upholds quality service standards.
Any other duties as may from time to time be assigned.
