Job Description
African Gas Solutions is a company which is based in Namibia and currenlty expanding in the neighbouring countries.
We specialize in the installation of medical gas pipe system and medical gas plant room equipment
We are looking for experienced MGPS technicians who will be based in Zambia/Zimbabwe/Mozambique.
Duties and Responsibilities
Installation: Setting up new medical gas systems, including piping, valves, and regulators.
Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and maintaining existing systems to ensure they meet safety standards.
Repair: Troubleshooting and fixing any issues that may arise in the system.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving problems related to gas flow, pressure, or system components.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring the systems are functioning correctly and safely.
Compliance: Adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Documentation: Maintaining records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications and Experience
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, electrical systems, and gas delivery equipment.
Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix problems with medical gas systems.
Safety: Understanding of safety protocols and procedures for handling medical gases.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and other healthcare professionals.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant training or certifications in medical gas technology.
Experience: 5-10 years with proven track record
