Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for a job opportunity as a Medical Doctor that has arisen in NECTACARE (PVT) LTD in Victoria Falls.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of the job shall include but shall not be limited to assessing, treating, and counselling NECTACARE Private Limited patients.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
• Managing health services activities through planning, organizing, coordinating, conducting, controlling, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of patient care (POCC-ME).
• Monitoring and managing HIV/AIDS cases, COVID cases and other health related cases according to set standards and protocols on all patients and ensuring the proper use of prescribed tools.
• Promoting quality care on all patients and observing patients’ charter.
• Managing the performance of subordinates and advocating for appropriate staff development
• Evaluating and enhancing subordinates' motivation
• Team building
• Organizing institutional and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
• A Medical Degree (MBChB)
• Anesthesia qualification as an added advantage
Ideal Candidate must:
• Have 4 years’ experience working with the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare
• Have at least 2 years' experience in private practice with good surgical skills
• Have Anesthesia exposure as an added advantage
• Have Good knowledge in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care issues
• Have an entrepreneurial inclination with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Have a strong client focus with excellent counseling skills
• Be empathetic and flexible
• Have commitment to handling private and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
