Sino-Zimbabwe Cement Company, a leading cement manufacturer situated 38 Km from Gweru in Midlands Province is looking for competent and experienced persons to fill the following position:
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN × 1
Duties and Responsibilities
THE JOB
* Involves preventive and breakdown maintenance on kiln, ball mills, crushers, conveyors, bucket elevators and packers.
* Fault finding and repair of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, kiln tyres and rollers, girth gear drives and heavy-duty bearings.
* Ensures precision alignment of motors, gearboxes, couplings and kiln drive systems using laser alignment tools.
* Includes lubrication and condition monitoring.
* Includes shutdown execution.
* Requires ability to interpret equipment drawings and manuals in Mandarin.
* Entails the ability to relate Chinese process standards to other international standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
* 10-year hands on experience working in the cement industry.
* Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a prerequisite.
