Duties and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensuring availability and reliability of fixed plant
• Implementation of Preventive Maintenance procedures
• Maintenance of all mechanical equipment
• Scoping, implementation and handover of mechanical projects
• Ensuring compliance with all mechanical and plant legal requirements
• Contractor management
• Ensuring availability of critical plant spares
• Identify and evaluate continual improvement initiatives
• Implementation and review of SOPs policies
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum requirements:
• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• At least 5 years working experience in a mining environment
• Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized professional association
• Working knowledge of HSEQ management systems
