Job Description
This job advertisement is for an automotive cleaner position at Farchis Carbrite Services. We are seeking candidates who are mature, preferably experienced, and detail-oriented. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles at our facility.
While training will be provided, prior experience in automotive cleaning is advantageous. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned both inside and out, paying close attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, including vacuuming, dusting, washing, waxing, and polishing.
2. Detailing: Paying close attention to detail while cleaning, ensuring that every part of the vehicle is cleaned, from the dashboard to the windows, mirrors, and upholstery.
3. Stain Removal: Identifying and removing stains from carpets, seats, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
4. Window and Mirror Cleaning: Cleaning windows and mirrors to ensure they are spotless and streak-free, providing clear visibility.
5. Wheel and Tire Cleaning: Cleaning and polishing wheels and tires to remove dirt, grime, and brake dust, giving them a clean and shiny appearance.
6. Interior Sanitization: Disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces, including steering wheels, door handles, and other frequently touched areas, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
7. Trash and Debris Removal: Removing any trash, debris, or personal belongings left in the vehicle by previous occupants.
8. Maintenance and Repairs: Notifying supervisors or technicians of any maintenance or repair needs identified during the cleaning process, such as broken mirrors or faulty lights.
9. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with any questions or concerns related to the cleanliness of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction.
10. Follow Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Good O-Levels, maturity and willingness to work under pressure.
