VACANCY NOTICE: MARKETING OFFICER
Overall Job Purpose
Build and Protect Brand Equity: Establish Edu Boutique Bookstore as a modern, professional, and innovative leader in the educational supply and bookstore sector through consistent brand awareness initiatives.
Drive Digital Transformation: Lead the institution's transition toward digital-first customer engagement by managing modern tools like WhatsApp chatbots and CRM systems.
Execute Impactful Growth Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns that reach and targets market primary and secondary schools in Zimbabwe. (e.g. ZIMSEC HBC & Cambridge syllabus schools).
Enhance Customer Relationships: Act as the primary driver for customer relationship management, ensuring that both digital and physical interactions (such as school visits, exhibitions, and travel-based engagement) align with Edu Boutique’s credible and opportunity-driven image.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Digital Ecosystem Management: Oversee and optimise the Edu Boutique WhatsApp chatbot and digital engagement platforms.
Creation of advertising concepts for posting on all major company social media handles.
Brand Stewardship: Build and maintain brand awareness as an innovative leader in educational publications, curriculum resources, and bookstore retail.
Campaign Excellence: Plan, execute, and monitor impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels to promote curriculum standards and educational materials.
CRM & Engagement: Manage customer relationships and enhance digital interactions with diverse stakeholders, including schools, educators, and institutional boards.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and schools' engagement strategies to expand our reach and understand evolving educational curriculum needs.
Event Coordination: Lead the marketing logistics for institutional events, book fairs, and educational exhibitions.
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes
Academic Foundation: A Teaching, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media and Communications, or a related field qualification
Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in managing digital ecosystems, with a specific focus on WhatsApp, Facebook and Email marketing customer engagement tools.
CRM Proficiency: Practical knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to drive digital engagement and track customer interactions.
Strategic Campaigning: A track record of planning and executing impactful marketing campaigns that build brand awareness.
Market Intelligence: Experience in educational sector, or developing targeted strategies in the same sector.
