Job Description
To plan and oversee the organizations marketing and sales activities. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing and sales operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business to business strategy building. (key)
• Conduct market research and identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data. (weekly & monthly)
• Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales and revenue.
• Meeting planned sales goals.
• Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
• Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
• Coordinating your team on lead generation.
• The ongoing training of your sales people.
• Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
• Promoting the organization and products.
• Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
• Liase and engage team members to achieve better results.
• Engaging corporate customers.
• Business development in retail, wholesale and corporate channels.
• Building and maintain the corporate brand.
• Ensuring brand visibility and coercion.
• Designing and selling strategies and ensuring implementation.
• Budgeting and profit management.
• Customer relations management
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Marketing officer or relevant role (min 3 years).
• Minimum bachelor’s Degree in Marketing /IMM or any other relevant qualification.
• Knowledge in the energy industry is an added advantage.
• Class (4) drivers licenses is a prerequisite.
