Manager Internal Audit (D3)

Reporting to: Secretary
Summary of Duties: Assist in developing and executing the annual audit plan covering operational, financial and compliance areas; lead audit projects from planning to completion; conduct risk assessments; review and provide feedback on audit findings and reports; collaborate with departments on implementation of audit recommendations; analyse and interpret data to identify trends and issues; stay updated on public sector regulations and best practices; provide training and mentoring for audit staff; work with external auditors and regulatory bodies; and any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Attributes: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is an added advantage; a completed professional qualification (ACCA, CGI, CIMA) is preferred; registration as a Public Accountant with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board. Minimum five (5) years' experience in Internal Auditing in the Public Sector, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
