Job Description

Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated professionals are invited to apply for the following vacant post that has arisen in the Zimbabwe Open University.

Post 1: Manager, Corporate Planning (Three (3) year contract) (1 Post)
The incumbent will report to the Vice Chancellor.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Coordinating the planning process within the University;
 Producing and disseminating statistical data and planning information relevant to
management and decision-making within the University;
 Preparing submissions for public funding;
 Assisting in developing the University’s fees strategy and the fee setting process;
 Providing secretarial service to the Strategic Planning Meetings and other internal planning groups;
 Any other duties as may be assigned by the Vice Chancellor.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Educational Planning or Economics;
• Full membership to a professional accounting board such as ICSA(Z), CIMA or ACCA;
• Possession of a Master of Business Administration degree or Master’s Degree with a thrust in Strategic Planning will be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years of relevant post qualification experience.
