Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong audit background, have completed CIMA, and demonstrate a deep understanding of cost management and process efficiency, especially within complex operational environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Lead product and process costing across departments with emphasis on input-output alignment.
Monitor and enhance operational efficiency by analyzing variances and recommending improvements.
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and finance to ensure cost control and performance optimization.
Provide strategic insights to management based on financial and non-financial data.
Conduct internal financial reviews and support external audit processes.
Support pricing, investment appraisal, and financial modelling activities.
Qualifications and Experience
CIMA qualified (essential).
Strong background in audit (external or internal).
Proven experience in at least two of the following sectors:
Energy (Fuel & Petroleum)
Agribusiness
Manufacturing
Banking or Financial Services
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management accounting role.
Demonstrated experience with process/production costing.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate operational data into actionable
