Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant who will ensure that plant and equipment runs smoothly. The incumbent will be responsible for fault finding and proactively repair as well as preventative maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Carry out installations, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant and equipment.
2. Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance.
3.Conducts allocated preventative maintenance inspections, servicing and fault finding as per inspection schedule and within set time frames.
4. Conducts risk assessments prior to repair works in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
i). A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Fitter and Turner's certificate from a recognised institution.
ii). A valid Class 1 Journeyman in the relevant trade.
iii) Minimum of Two (2) years' experience in a fitting and turning position.
iv)Experience in working with LPG operations is an added advantage .
