Job Description
Our growing business is looking for skilled and precise machinists to operate the following machines:
1) Panel saw
2) CNC
3) Wrap machine
4) Edgebander
The ideal candidates should be able t work well under minimal supervision. We would prefer to hire candidates that have attended a trade school, but we will accept experience in its place.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Use a variety of precision and cutting tools and equipment.
2) Read and follow blueprints.
3) Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions and specifications
4) Understand and comply with industry regulations
5) Regularly clean, maintain machinery equipment as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma in Wood technology and design trade school preferred
- At least 3 years of related experience
- The ability to perform basic math and follow instructions.
- Physical fitness and the the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude to use a variety of industry tools and machinery.
- Strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail
