Job Description
We are looking for Logistics Operators in the SADC region to join our company and will be stationed in Zimbabwe,Mozambique,Zambia,Tanzania,South Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities
Order Processing: Receiving, reviewing, and processing orders to initiate the shipping process.
Shipment Planning: Creating efficient shipping plans, selecting the optimal mode of transport (e.g., air, sea, road), and booking shipments with carriers.
Tracking and Tracing: Monitoring the progress of shipments and providing updates to customers.
Customs Clearance: Handling customs documentation, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, and clearing customs procedures.
Problem-Solving: Addressing issues that may arise during shipment, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance problems.
Communication: Effectively communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Data Entry and Management: Maintaining accurate records of shipments, tracking data, and generating reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 2 years working in Transport and Logistics
* Diploma, Degree in Transport and Logistics Management or related field.
