REQUIRED
• Do you have a bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply, Logistics or equivalent
• Do you have at least 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years in the NGO sector
• Do you have over 3 years’ experience of working as Logistics Officer or on or higher positions
• Do you have over 3 years’ experience of managing high level procurements specially in NGO sector
• Do you have at least 2 years of experience of managing fleet
• If selected, will you be able to join us by 01 June 2021
PREFERRED
• Do you have previous experience of handling customs clearance
• Do you have proficiency in Navision accounting software
• Are you a member of a professional body (Institute of Purchasing and Supply)
• Sourcing, engaging and establishing long lasting relations with reliable suppliers in Zimbabwe and internationally and continuous improvement of supplier list through supplier performance evaluation to initiate business and organization partnerships
• Liaise and build relations with existing suppliers and identify, select and approve potential suppliers based on the company selection methodology and criteria
• Overseeing the procurement budget and promoting culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Plan for all purchasing requirements in liaison with HR and Admin Manager in advance and performs procurement processes
against Procurement Policy
• Manages workflow through receiving requisitions, purchasing, coordination of payments with Finance Department, and receiving of
goods
• Responsible for maintaining efficient filling system for record keeping and internal and external audits.
• Liaising with clearance agents on international or regional procurements
• Assist in formulating procurement budgets, plans, policies, procedures, and controls
• To sit in the Finance commission and assist in tender selections
• Oversee fleet management
