Job Description


A well-established logistics company is looking for an efficient, organised and well- presented Logistics Clerk for its Chiredzi office. As a Logistics Clerk, you should be able to multitask and communicate well at all levels as well as have knowledge of logistics and fleet management.

Duties and Responsibilities


 Driver bookings
 Informs management and compiles reports/summaries on activity areas
 Petty cash management and reconciliation
 Maintenance of records
 Communicates with all drivers to ensure that they are properly briefed about deliveries.
 Monitors truck movements dispatched from the Chiredzi office up to the point of delivery
 Checks that drivers keep vehicles clean and tidy
 Checks all Proof of Deliveries (POD) ensuring no shortages or damages to consignment delivered before payment is processed.
 Conducts logistics reconciliations and produces required daily weekly and monthly reports.
 Preparing and ensuring that there is correct transport documentation.
 Assists in load planning and delivery scheduling
 Performs adhoc tasks as may be required by the Management
 Requests and processes logistics payments

Qualifications and Experience


 Diploma in Transport and Logistics or any other business related qualification
 At least one and half years of relevant experience in the Transport sector an added advantage
 Good command of Microsoft office packages
 Ability to communicate at all levels
 Ability to work independently and under pressure
 Ability to work with drivers and other supply chain partners
