Job Description
Locum scientist is responsible for overall supervision of all the activities of the lab, including all administrative issues that may be necessary. Over and above, he/she will be directed by the hospital's standards and guides.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision and monitoring routine lab testing
Maintenance of laboratory environment (Temperature, swabbing and cleaning)
Recording, capturing and authentication of results
Reviewing of SOPs and procedures
Troubleshooting
Supervising of internal and external quality protocols
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of medical laboratory sciences honours degree
Registered with Medical laboratory and clinical scientist council of Zimbabwe (MLCSZ)
At least 2 years experience
