Summary and purpose
In consultation with the programme manager, the field officer will conduct community sensitization and appropriate training to the target households of the project to promote their general livelihoods. Also to guide and monitor livelihoods and agribusiness interventions and secure compliance to Donor and ZOE guidelines and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Major responsibilities
Conduct training to targeted households; Prepare regular and timely program reports for submission; Prepare procurement and distribution plans for all goods and services and ensure timely submission within the relevant districts.

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge and skills
In depth knowledge of livelihoods and agribusiness interventions, standards and guidelines; Knowledge on dairy production and value chain; Have proven organizational planning and leadership, ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines without much supervision; Ability to identify gaps, trends, priorities and key issues (being innovative); Knowledge on how to use agri software.

Educational
Degree in Agriculture or related field and 5 years experience.
