Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task oriented individuals to fill the above position that have arisen within the Housing and Community Services Department
The incumbent will be reporting to the Sports Officer and will be responsible for:
Life Saving
Monitor swimming activities
Rescues drowning swimmers and initiates rescue procedures Undertakes emergency procedures for injured clients Control supplies that are used in and around the swimming pool, Watch out for emergencies and thus should always be on standby Administers first aid
Training Teaches basic swimming knowledge Liaise with stakeholders on matters of swimming skills
THE PERSON SPECIFICATION
5 “O” levels
Water safety, CPR and First Aid certificate
Lifeguard and swimming coach qualification
Applicant should have at least two years experience as a Life Saver
