Legal Advisor
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Advising management on legal and corporate governance matters
Managing litigation to ensure minimal exposure to Company
Reviewing and providing advice on all contracts
Developing and maintaining legal database for the Company
Keeping the company up to date with all relevant changes and pending changes in legislation
Periodically revising procedures, reports etc. to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Acting as Principal Officer and Legal Advisor for the Zimasco Funeral Fund.
Interfacing with regulatory authorities and industrial bodies on behalf of the Company on legal and corporate governance matters
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLB) from a reputable institution.
Minimum of eight (8) years' work experience in a Legal related environment. a Should be conversant in commercial, criminal and labour laws of Zimbabwe
Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations relative to work situations
A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
Should be highly computer literate.
