The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Communication and Information Science: -
The successful candidate will be expected to teach news writing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to assist students in innovation and entrepreneurial journalism start up projects.
Applicants must possess a minimum of an earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Journalism and/or Media Studies, Communication Studies. Applicants with a good Master’s Degree in
Journalism and/or Media Studies, with a least 7 years’ experience in the newsroom will be considered.
