Job Description

The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Medicine: -
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Duties and Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students, conduct research and provide clinical services in Medical Microbiology, particularly in Medical Parasitology and Mycology.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine degrees or equivalent.
• A Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology or Microbiological Pathology is required.
• Specialization in Medical Parasitology or Medical Mycology as well as A PhD/DPhil degree in a Medical Microbiology field will be an added advantages.
• Candidates should be registered or registrable with the Health Profession Council, through the Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientist Council of Zimbabwe (MLCSCZ).
