Job Description
Bindura University of Science Education is looking for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor: Occupational Health and Safety (2 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities

Applicants must be able to teach at least four (4) courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to both conventional and block students from the following disciplines: Ergonomics; Occupational Hygiene & Toxicology; Safety, Health and Environmental Auditing; Occupational Health & Safety Legislation; Safety, Health & Risk Management, and Occupational Health & Safety Education. The Department reserves the right to allocate courses for teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Department’s activities involving teaching, research and community engagement
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a first degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science and a Masters degree in Occupational Health and Safety. A PhD in an Environmental Science-related field is an added advantage.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years teaching experience at a tertiary learning institution or traceable industrial experience working in an occupational safety environment. The Curriculum Vitae (CV) should contain a detailed list of publications; clearly specifying titles of publications, journal names, volumes, page number details, dates published, name(s) of publishers and of co-authors if any, or proven industrial experience with development or implementation of occupational health and safety management systems and presentation of reports for the organisation(s) at seminars of conferences.
