Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) is inviting suitably qualified personnel to fill in the
following post:
The candidate must be able to teach some of the following modules in Social Work: Counselling,
Social Policy and Administration, Introduction to Social Work with Groups. The candidate must also
be able to advise students and collaborate with faculty on research within and across Departments,
contribute to the achievement of Education 5.0 by the Department through University teaching,
research, community engagement, innovation and industrialisation and supervise students’ projects
and dissertations.
The applicant must hold a Master of Science Degree in Social Work and a foundation First Degree in
Social Work. A PhD in Social Work is an added advantage. A candidate must be registered with the
Council of Social Work. The candidate must have at least 1 year experience lecturing at tertiary
institution with a clear record of successful research, publications and supervision of students
Six (6) copies of the following: application letter, certified copies of educational certificates, National
ID, Birth Certificate and CVs giving full personal including full name, place and date of birth,
qualifications, previous employment and experience, present salary, date of availability, telephone
number, email address, names and addresses of three referees including emails and addresses.
Evidence of membership of a professional association (where applicable) should also be attached.
