Job Description

An Exciting opportunity has risen at Khayah Cement for a suitably qualified and experienced person for the above post, which has arisen in the Procurement Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main Duties
• Develop and implement integrated procurement, stores, and warehouse strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead sourcing, tendering, supplier selection, and contract management to ensure value for money, quality, and continuity of supply.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance management, and service level compliance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Drive cost optimisation, demand planning, and supply risk mitigation across the end-to-end supply chain.
• Provide oversight of stores and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, timely receipt and issuance, and effective stock controls to minimise losses and variances.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• CIPS (Level 4 and above) is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience across procurement, supply chain, stores, and warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Proven experience in procurement and inventory reporting, supplier compliance audits, and governance controls within regulated or industrial environments.
• Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Leadership.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, are added advantages.
