Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for a job opportunity that has arisen in NECTACARE in Zvishavane.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Doctor in Charge, the principal accountabilities of the job are:
• Laboratory management including but not limited to performing scientific tests on samples and reporting the results
• Client Advice
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Budgeting
• Human Resources Management
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences Honors Degree
• Valid Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientists Council of Zimbabwe practicing certificate
• Valid Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientists Council of Zimbabwe registration certificate
Ideal Candidate must:
• Have 3 years’ appropriate and relevant experience in clinical laboratory duties
• Have a strong client focus with good communication skills
• Be highly observant and have good analytical skills.
• Have commitment to handling private and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
