As Key Accounts Manager – General Trade & Aviation you will be responsible for the following activities :

Duties and Responsibilities

GENERAL TRADE
Prepare, present, and ensure execution of the sales budgets and any subsequent business reviews for General Trade business lines.
Ensure pricing, rebates and services are effectively managed leading to profitable and sustainable margins considering all costing associated to customers. Ensure the overall profitability of the General Trade segment as per budget plan as well as excellent customer service.
Make sure customers payment conditions and credit risk are adhered to.
Ensure all appropriate tenders and business opportunities are timely responded.
Ensure planning of General Trade customers’ visit and relevant participation of management. All visit reports must be linked to Salsa and client objectives uploaded into Salsa.
Investigate opportunities for business development, product development and market development within the General Trade section with focus on fuel management systems, other group tools/services and nostro denominated sales.
Develop the General Trade strategic roadmap for sales, marketing.
Develop white product sales to achieve sustained growth of volumes and revenues as forecasted in Long Term Plan.
Carry out HSEQ audits and ensure preventative maintenance tracking of company assets at all General trade customer sites with investments.
Ensure customer deliveries are planned and followed up for timeous delivery and B2B customer satisfaction.
Maintain customer contracts register for the General Trade segment and ensure contract renewal before expiry.
Ensure effective communication with customers and ensure customers get the best service from the company. Implementing the B2B Service Excellence strategy.
Monitor, track and report weekly on customer nostro payments, nostro product balances and nostro product releases.
Prepare Investment Profitability Analysis for all tenders and Investments.

Aviation

Ensure profitability of the aviation activity.
Ensure control of the activity and protect the company from any financial exposure
Facilitate and ensure all ATI and other aviation customers are serviced satisfactorily in Zimbabwe
Manage Air Zimbabwe account on supply and payments and ensure strict adherence to agreed supply terms
Ensure monthly reconciliation of HAFS Stocks against SAP and Avidial
Oversee timely and accurate invoicing of all uplifts on working D+1
Supervise the issuance of Proforma invoices to aviation customers
Ensure that ATI transactions are promptly invoiced using AVIDIAL
Ensure ATI account is up to date i.e. invoicing, payments and matching
Pay regular visits to both local and ATI customers
Source for new business to grow the local portfolio of aviation customers.
Salsa - Log customer information, weekly reporting of call plans and visit reports in Salsa .
Competitive Intelligence – Monitor and report competitor activities (price watch, new developments, changes,
Complete daily aviation reports and circulate accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience Level Required

Minimum 3 years
