Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and self-driven individuals in a leading diversified conglomerate for the position of Key Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance through identifying and implementing innovative marketing initiatives on allocated accounts, whilst ensuring that the brand message, tone, voice, and identity remain consistent and effective across all online and offline channels.

• Develop annual business plan and strategy for the assigned clients to ensure that the plan is achievable, and regularly conduct monthly, quarterly business reviews, yearly business reviews with the client.
• Set the strategic direction for the account portfolio you are responsible for, including the development & retention of existing business & new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong business relationship with clients to gain strong collaboration in mutually driving business objectives and to get a better position in negotiating for the agreement and business development plans.
• Monitor category and brand performance against market, evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, activities, and take corrective action, as needed to ensure achievement of business goals.
• Collaborate with design, creative, advertising, marketing team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs are met.
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Maintain an account file for each customer containing all contact reports, meeting agenda & minutes, proposals, negotiation documentation, presentations.
• Plan, produce and create of a programme of digital content (Facebook, Twitter, and any other social channels) to be used across all digital channels, increasing engagement with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Person Specifications
The ideal person must possess the following:
 Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or related field.
 3 years proven working experience in key account management.
 The ability to handle multiple client accounts
 Excellent communication skills.
 Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software
