Job Description
Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and versatile IT Systems and Support Specialist to join our IT department. Responsibilities include systems administration, network management, IT support, and software development to ensure the seamless operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Additionally, the specialist will provide support for SAP S/4HANA, assisting with system integrations, troubleshooting, and user training.
Duties and Responsibilities
Systems and Network Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and routine maintenance for servers and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor security systems, implement cybersecurity measures, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Conduct regular backup procedures and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Manage and support CCTV, GPS tracking systems, and cloud-based services.
SAP S/4HANA Support & IT Enhancements
• Provide technical support for SAP S/4HANA modules used by the company, including troubleshooting and system optimizations.
• Assist with SAP S/4HANA integrations with third-party systems such as payroll, weighbridge customer portal, and fuel & GPS tracking.
• Support end-users in SAP functionalities, helping resolve issues related to FI, CO, MM, PS, PM, HCM, SD, and EHS modules.
• Work with the IT Officer to ensure proper system configurations, security, and performance optimization.
Technical Support & Training
• Provide first-line help desk support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and SAP-related issues promptly.
• Assist in developing and delivering IT and SAP S/4HANA training programs to enhance staff technical capabilities.
• Document technical procedures, IT policies, and best practices for internal reference.
Software Development & Internal IT Solutions
• Support software customization, integration, and internal tool development.
• Maintain and enhance internal applications, web-based tools, and databases.
• Assist with multimedia projects, including website updates and media content development.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including troubleshooting, user support, and integrations.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Experience with software development, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and database management (SQL, MySQL).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing.
