We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the organization.
* Provide first-line technical support to users (hardware, software, and network issues)
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
* Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving faults
* Maintain IT documentation and update system records
* Support system upgrades, backups, and security procedures
* Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and user requests
Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
* Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and common business applications
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
* Experience with helpdesk systems
* Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are an added advantage
