Investment analyst
• Strengthen the company's investment unit's capacity to identify investment opportunities, as well as screening, selection, prioritization and appraising investment projects.
• Conducting due diligence on investors seeking investment opportunities including but not limited to financial analysis (for creditworthiness viability and bankability), investment valuation & sensitivity analysis.
• Develop new project concept notes, including proposed transaction type and project implementation plans.
• Reviewing feasibility studies and Joint venture tender documents.
• Prepare of NDAs, term sheets and investment and/or Concession facility agreement.
• Develop innovative financing strategies including but not limited to Infrastructure and Green bonds.
• Perform financial analysis on the creditworthiness, viability and bankability of potential infrastructure and joint venture projects.
• Assisting the Managing Director in formulating medium and long-term strategic direction for the company in line with prevailing government policies and market conditions
Key Responsibilities
• A Bcom degree in Finance, Investments or Financial Economics
• Progress towards a professional qualification e.g. CFA
• 5 years' working experience
• A clean class 4 driver's licence
Work Plan
• The InvestmentAnalyst is expected within 45 days of commencing work to develop a detailed annual work plan for the Investment department. This work plan, shall provide detailed description of activities with specific milestones, timelines and expected results.
