As part of strategic repositioning the position of Internal Sales Consultant - Chemical Business has arisen within Astra Industries — Plascon Zimbabwe, based at Astra Chemical reporting to the Sales Administrator.
Purpose of the Job The incumbent will be expected to offer efficient service to customers in order to ensure repeat sales as well as promoting the image of the company through good public relations focusing on the Agro Chemical sector
Key Performance Area
• Implements internal Sales and Marketing strategy
• Promote the entire range of Agro Chemical products
• Customer interface
• Receive and process customer orders.
• Telephone selling and Invoice processing.
• Generate and process back orders.
• Stock monitoring and product distribution control
Skill, Knowledge and Experience Requirements
At least one year working experience in sales or in similar position. Previous Internal sales experience in Chemical business would be a distinct advantage. Strong negotiating and selling skills, Excellent communication skills, Ability to perform and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Educational Qualifications & Personal Attributes
Have Agro Chemical or Sales Higher certificate / equivalent relevant qualification or is engaged in studies aimed at obtaining one. Knowledge of Agro chemical products would be an advantage. Good presentation (grooming) and pleasant personality. Have sales flare and the ability to communicate at all levels. Be results driven with strong passion for meeting set targets and standards. Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure, Customer focus
