Job Description

You will be responsible for investigating issues, involving alleged violations of laws, regulations, Company policies and the company’s Code of Conduct. The successful individual will manage a caseload of numerous investigations, working both autonomously and collaboratively to conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations.

Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Manage complex investigations from intake to completion, including conducting investigative interviews, reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing documents and data collected as a part of the investigation process.
• Draft detailed investigative reports and make objective and analytically sound findings, providing recommendations and advice for corrective action.
• Interact with employees at all levels, helping to develop understanding, transparency, and trust around the company’s investigation function.
• Train ER Colleagues and business partners in respect of investigation work.
• Help develop long-term solutions for systemic issues.
• Directly responsible for the retail locations and warehouses in areas allocated.
• Accountable for initiating and closing investigations on internal theft.
• Meet recovery and arrests targets
• Conduct inventories, audits of deposit procedures, daily media, stockrooms and refunds
• Meet shrink results targets
• Interrogate and investigate company losses and meet admissions targets

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years experience within an investigator position or HR Generalist position handling workplace investigations;
• Experience leading investigations and analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience working with case management or other investigators' tooling/systems.
• Ability to assist with training and facilitation functions In both large and small group settings required; strong public speaking skills preferred.
• Possess excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills necessary to conduct inquiries and investigation interviews; demonstrating strong critical thinking, analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain completely objective when gathering Information during the inquiries and investigation process.
• Ability to work efficiently either independently or collaboratively under demanding and difficult circumstances and must be able to work under tight time constraints to accomplish assignments.
• Must have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.
