Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are sought for the following vacancies arising from current and futuristic requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
• Installations and maintenance of Instrumentation and Control Equipment; X-Ray Transmission (XRT) machines and PLC among others
• Installations and maintenance of Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC systems
• Calibration of all plant Instrumentation and Control equipment
• Statistical Process Control
• Attend to breakdowns and planned maintenance
• Daily inspection and monitoring of Instrumentation and Control Equipment
• Mentoring Assistants, Apprentices and Attaches.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Class I Apprenticeship trained Journeyman
• National Diploma in Instrumentation and Control
• Proven work experience with TOMRA XRT machines, Siemens and Allan Bradley PLCs and Crushers
• At least 5 years post qualification work experience
• Working experience in a mining environment is a distinct advantage.
• Working knowledge of HSEQ management systems.
