The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and will be based at Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Strategy, Policy and Planning
• Develop and implement ICT strategies, policies, and standards aligned to GMBs mandate.
• Provide strategic leadership in driving digital transformation and automation across all business units.
• Manage ICT budgets, resource allocation, and support network expansion across the Head Office and depots.
Research and recommend technologies to enhance grain procurement, storage, and distribution systems.
• Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and aligning them with enterprise goals.
Systems Analysis, Development and Implementation
• Analyse, design, and implement systems supporting finance, logistics, and grain management operations.
• • Oversee SAP enhancements, integrations, and procurement of compatible ICT solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and Service Level
Agreements (SLAs).
• Lead enterprise systems integration to ensure seamless data flow and decision-making across departments.
Network and Infrastructure Management
• Ensure reliable LAN/WAN connectivity across the Head Office and nationwide depots.
• Monitor and maintain ICT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and system uptime.
• Drive modernisation of ICT infrastructure in line with global best practices and organisational growth
SAP Systems Administration and Support
• Manage SAP system pertormance, configuration, and availability.
• • Support integration with key business functions and provide ongoing user training and support.
ICT Security and Compliance
• Implement and maintain ICT security controls to sateguard organisational systems and data.
• Ensure compliance with Government regulations and
GMB operational standards.
• Provide leadership in enterprise risk management related to ICT and data governance. raining, Leadership and User Suppor
Provide continuous IC1 training and technica support to users across all locations.
• Supervise ICT staff, set performance targets, and drive skills development.
• Build and lead a high-performing ICT team aligned to organisational strategy and innovation goals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, digital adoption, and innovation across the organisation.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information
Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SAP and Protessional ICT
certifications is essential.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in systems management or a similar environment
• At least five (5) 'O' Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
Professional Certifications added advantage
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching.
• Cisco Certihed Network Associate (CCNA) Security.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CER).
