• Maintaining 99,95% uptime to ensure smooth flow of operations and uninterrupted service of the organisation as a whole
• Utilising network monitoring tools, applications and services to identify server, network, system and performance issues to ensure timeous resolution.
• Ensuring antivirus is up to date in order to combat entry of viruses that protecting the devices.
• Creating all new users on the domain controller so as to enable them to access emails effectively.
• Conducting new employee' induction so as to help them familiarise with the systems and procedures followed by the organisation
• Networking Security (LAN and WAN)
• Maintaining backup and servicing of Pcs
• Administering database
• Training of User Support
• Administering of helpdesk
Experience, Education Level qualifications
• Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCSA ,MCP-IT)
• 3-5 years' relevant work experience
Knowledge and skills requirements
• Knowledge of Cisco routing
• Knowledge of Microsoft exchange servers
• Clean Class 4 drivers licence
