ICT QUALITY
ASSURANCE TESTER (HARARE)
We are looking for a motivated ICT Quality Assurance Tester (ICTAT) to join our team. If you're passionate about ensuring that software and systems meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before, they are released to users, this role is for you. The ICT Quality Assurance Tester role provides technical consulting or subject matter expertise in the design, execution, analysis and reporting of test plans and strategies for enterprise systems or sub-systems under development and the application of quality assurance processes to safeguard the quality, reliability and completeness of ZIMNAT's ICT applications. The ICTAT will perform hands-on quality checks and provide technical support to internal and external users while mentoring and guiding other team members on systems and service quality as well as assisting product owners in formulating overall test plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake enterprise system and/or sub-system testing and quality assurance projects in collaboration with key stakeholders and other IT teams or experts using functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing methods.
• Designing test cases and test scripts using test management tools as well as perform manual tests using automation tools.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of quality objectives.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain CA best practices and tools.
• Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
• Support deployment and post-implementation quality verification.
• Assist in user training and support post-implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
Key Competencies:
• Experience in test plan designs tailored to the unique challenges of digital products and business applications.
• Experience in relevant automation testing tools and frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
rakonanors
• Ability to navigate organizational changes smoothly.
• Proficiency in test plan creation and execution.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g. Jira, ClickUp).
Qualifications & Experience:

• Test automation and Agile certifications are an added advantage.
• ISTOB or other Quality Assurance certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
• Version control and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
