Applicants are invited to fill in the following vacant position that has arisen in our General Insurance Division:
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Developing and directing ICT strategy while ensuring the ICT systems are fully implemented utilised
2. Deliver ICT solutions that provide a competitive advantage to support the growth of the business in a way that satisfies our clients needs
3. Take responsibility for the firm's core business systems, including administration, maintenance and development
4. Use a variety of tools to extract and analyze data for management. system and networking reporting as well as create ad hoc reports and present them to the department
5. Database maintenance
6. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
7. Manage yearly budget and warrant cost-effectiveness
8. Participate in the formulation and development of the firm's ICT strategy from a Database Administration perspective
9. Devising and implementing efficient anti secure procedures for data handling
10.Supervise the ICT staff job performance and appraise their work results
11. Anticipate the risks and suggest timely strategic solutions
Qualifications and Experience
Key qualifications, experience a competencies
• Relevant Degree in o business-related field in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages. databases (SQL etc). and programming (XML. JavaScript. or ETL frameworks)
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in on ICT role • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel. SPSS. SAS etc)
• Proven proficiency in technical management and data analysis
• Extreme awareness of data governance and data center management
• Excellent familiarity with computer networks installation and administration
• Strategic & analytical skills
• Eloquent. confident and articulate
• Self-motivated. diligent and results-oriented
• High level of integrity. and self-discipline with o strong bias towards execution
• Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal written and oral communication skills
