Job Description

Musasa is a national NGO that started work in 1988 focusing on Violence against women (VAW). Musasa mainly focuses on offering direct services such as counselling, legal advice, emergence medical assistance, life skills and temporary shelter services to survivors of Gender-based violence. The organisation also social transformation and awareness raising on issues to do with Gender Based Violence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing computer systems support, installations, configurations and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
• Providing first line technical support to users of ICT systems.
• Properly document ICT procedures, good written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and appreciation of database management systems.
• Enhance and maintain social media platforms and the website, efficient in digital storytelling, periodically and creatively updating content to improve engagement and reach.
• Experience with designing and publishing multimedia social media content and use of relevant multimedia/graphic editing applications/online platforms.
• Practical knowledge of digital security, data backup, archive and restore procedures.
• Managing Server services ie Email, Pastel.
• Flexibility and willingness to carry out any other tasks and work directly with programs staff

Qualifications and Experience

Degree/National Diploma in Information systems and any other ICT related program ICT certifications are added advantage
At least 2 years working experience in the ICT department.
