Job Description

Nash Paints is looking for an ICT Administrator who shall be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s information and communication systems. This role ensures smooth operations of networks, servers, hardware, and software while providing timely technical support to users. The ICT Administrator also assists in implementing IT policies, security measures, and technology improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor servers, network devices, firewalls, and storage systems.
Manage active directory, domain services, user accounts, and access rights.
Ensure stable operation of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and VPN connections.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backup management.
Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and resolve system failures, connectivity problems, and user issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and ICT peripherals.
Implement cybersecurity best practices, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
Monitor system logs and identify potential security risks.
Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data protection, and backup procedures.
Install, update, and support business applications (e.g., ERP, email systems).
Manage software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
Liaise with vendors for support and system enhancements
Maintain accurate inventory of ICT equipment and software assets.
Document system configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and ICT projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant certifications (preferred): Cyber Security, Network, Microsoft certifications.
2 years of experience in ICT support, system administration, or similar role.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
