Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions that have arisen within the Environmental Management Agency (EMA)- an equal opportunity employer.
Position: Human Resources Officer Training (1 post)
Station: Head Office
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the job incumbent will be responsible for the provision of training and implementation of capacity building initiatives, which enable the Environmental Management Agency to achieve its mandate.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities entail;
• Proactively drives the design, development and effective delivery of training to the Agency's employees within defined timeframes.
• Identifies, develops, coordinates and delivers an appropriate and relevant induction training programme for all staff.
• Develops all Agency staff training manuals in collaboration with relevant user departments to ensure the applicability and relevance of training manuals.
• Liaises with service providers, partners and stakeholders to ensure entire curriculum coordination, quality control and successful delivery of training programme.
• Reviews and modifies training materials and other related products required for the successful delivery of training.
• Maintains all training records, keeps training materials and other related training equipment.
• Facilitates all training sessions and manages feedback session to ensure continuous improvements.
• Advises on ways to improve skill sets and quality of performance through identifying areas of development across the Agency as a whole.
• Develops an annual training plan for the Agency as well as monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the learning and development activities across the Agency.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification, Experience and Competences:
• Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources Management or any other relevant Social Science degree.
• An IPMZ diploma in training management.
• At least five years' experience in the Human Resources field with a strong bias in training.
